Salary is competitive and not less than £35,999 (pay award pending) pa inclusive of London allowance

 

This is a fixed term appointment for 2 years

 

 

The Teaching and Learning Centre (TLC) supports the development and delivery of excellent teaching and learning in the social sciences at the School. We are committed to the development and support of excellence in education and to developing and working with students as agents of change in line with the School’s LSE 2030 Strategy. The Centre’s core activities include the provision of academic and professional development opportunities to academic staff including the LSE Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education, high quality advising to academic departments as well as a range of activities directed at enhancing curricula and supporting education and the student experience across LSE.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to play a significant role in contributing to the development of student partnership activity across the LSE. Working with staff and students across the School, the role will focus on developing and supporting strategies and existing and new initiatives that enhance all aspects of student partnership at LSE. In particular the student partnership coordinator will play a key role in the further development and embedding of LSE Change Makers which launched successfully in the academic year 2018-2019.

 

The successful candidate will be educated to Master’s degree level or equivalent, have experience of work in higher education and knowledge of sector developments around students as partners. You will have excellent organisational and project management skills, advanced written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to plan ahead across annual cycles.  

 

The post is located in the LSE Teaching and Learning Centre and will also work closely with the School directorate, academic departments, professional services units and the LSE Students’ Union.
