Work-Based Learning Officer

 

Salary from £31,029 to £ £35,635 pa with potential to progress to £38,283 pa inclusive of London allowance (pro rata)

 

This is a fixed-term, part-time appointment until 31 July 2024 for 21 hours per week (0.6FTE)

Offering an extensive programme of events and activities to help them develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed, we are committed to delivering work to a high professional standard and continually enhancing and developing the services we offer.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Work-Based Learning Officer to join our friendly and proactive Employer Engagement Team within LSE Careers. You will manage the Laidlaw Internship Scheme and oversee the full cycle of the LSE Careers Micro Internship Programme. You will support with designing and implementing activities that support student community building and active engagement with the Laidlaw Internship Scheme and the Work-Based Learning Programme. The Work-Based Learning Programme will focus on empowering personal and professional growth of students through work-experience initiatives such as internships, consultancy projects, innovation challenges, hackathons, work-shadowing etc. You will play a key role within the wider Employer Engagement Team in supporting the delivery of our employer services.

 

You should be confident multi-tasking in a fast-paced work environment, with the ability to quickly analyse client needs and refer to feedback and data to identify opportunities for improving student, alumni and employer engagement with our services. We need someone with excellent organisational skills, outstanding communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.
