Assistant Professor in Law (Data, AI and/or Technology Law)

 

Salary is no less than £64,552 per annum (pay award pending) and the salary scale can be found on the LSE website  

 

To support our undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programmes and to strengthen further our research profile, we are seeking to appoint an Assistant Professor in Data, AI and/or Technology Law.

 

The postholder will contribute to the intellectual life of the School through conducting and publishing outstanding research, engaging in high quality teaching as instructed by the Dean of the Law School, and participating in Law School and wider School activities.

 

Candidates should have the ability, as evidenced by existing publications or potential to publish in top journals, and to establish an international reputation in Data, AI and/or Technology Law.  Candidates will have a clear, well developed and viable strategy for future outstanding research that has the potential to result in world-leading publications.  Candidates should have a PhD in Law or its research equivalent (or be close to obtaining a PhD) by the post start date and be committed to high quality teaching and fostering a positive learning environment for students, including pastoral care.
