Head of Business Applications

Salary from £55,171 to £63,883 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £70,790 pa inclusive of London allowance

LSE’s Data and Technology Services division provides services to over 10,000 staff and student users.

This role will lead and manage the Business Application Team, setting out the standards and services needed to manage enterprise Database Services, COTS and Business Applications across the LSE. Managing a team of technical experts and vendors for the effective service management of Business Applications and COTS Software functions.

Candidates should have:

•  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal colleagues, collaborating institutes and external bodies.
•  Strong customer service skills and a proven track record of maintaining an exceptional standard of customer service across a department / service.
• The ability to manage complex maintenance projects, focusing on efficient and effective planning and delivery.
• Highly developed and up to date knowledge of leading and managing IT services within an organisation.
