Business Project Manager
Salary from £53,949 to £62,160 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £69,073 pa inclusive of London allowance
This is a fixed term appointment until July 2028
This is an exciting time to join the LSE, a world class University situated in the heart of London. The Business Improvement Unit (BIU) delivers both strategic transformational change and operational improvements across the LSE.
The Business Improvement Unit (BIU) specialises in delivering a range of business change projects and programmes across the LSE. We aim to simplify the change process and guarantee the success of initiatives by providing expert project and programme management. Our goal is to deliver tangible business outcomes and benefits for the School.
The successful candidates will:
- Have significant experience in Project Management, leading and directing productive, cross functional teams and managing stakeholders at senior management level.
- Have sufficient knowledge, experience and understanding of information systems and technology to be able to manage change projects which will be enabled by these capabilities.
- Have experience of providing leadership and direction to project teams, demonstrating an ability to motivate with a clear vision of what is to be achieved.
- Be ready to challenge the status quo and proactively identify and solve problems.
- Be able to lead, work with and support people in a complex change environment.
The successful candidate may be required to manage more than one project concurrently.
LSE is a campus-based university and staff are expected to attend the London campus in fulfilling their role. For this particular role, we can accept applications from all parts of the UK, provided the applicant is able to travel periodically to the London campus.
