Salary is from £64,827 pa to £83,187 pa inclusive of London allowance

 

 

LSE is embarking on an ambitious programme of change supported by a significant investment in our core technology. The Data and Technology Services Division (DTS) is front and centre in delivering the change needed to create a strong operational core for the School. Working with the CIO, Laura Dawson, each post will be leading a high-functioning team that has gone from strength to strength within LSE.  The Data and Technology Services Team cares about the work of the school and the delivery of its service, and our primary mission is to ensure these are properly underpinned and appropriately flexible. The development of our team members is especially important to us, and we ensure all our staff are provided with the time and space to expand their talents and grow as leaders.  These job opportunities are arising because the present incumbents have secured the next steps in their careers, something we are exceptionally proud of. 

 

You will be key in creating a culture that is Credible, Adaptive, Principled, Empathetic and Service Oriented. 

 

As part of DTS Leadership you will be responsible for the delivery of the services your team provides including continuous service improvement; setting and measuring appropriate KPIs; Leadership of the team including setting objectives and key results for team members; budget forecasting and management; and engagement and stakeholder relations.

 

Candidates must have:

 

·         Excellent skills at building trusted partnerships across diverse customer groups

·         Developed skills in ensuring teams can be focused on both the strategic and operational direction of the organisation and can understand their place within it

·         Highly developed skills in delivering ‘end to end’ services to a diverse range of customers and ensuring a continuous improvement approach

·         Highly developed interpersonal skills including understanding and working well with organisational politics

·         Developed ability to review problems and identify pragmatic and achievable solutions with minimal resources

·         Highly developed knowledge of ensuring technology implementations meet security, accessibility and environmentally sustainability needs

·         Highly developed skills in decision making and prioritisation with a good understanding of responsibility and accountability
