Research and Innovation Evidence Manager

 

 

Salary from £49,196 to £56,833 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £63,295 pa

The role is part of the new Research and Innovation Evidence Function which has a key role in defining, designing, and delivering activities according to LSE’s needs and strategic objectives. The Research and Innovation Evidence Manager has a key role delivering evidence for transformational research and innovation activities. Working with senior stakeholders they will provide expertise to facilitate institutional research across the LSE creating a longer-term ‘strategic’ view of the development of research and funded research.

 

The role holder should have experience with qualitative and quantitative methods to review external trends and internal research and innovation themes and incentives, such as institutional impacts, culture and environment, SHAPE funding policies, interdisciplinary research outputs and commercial engagements. They should have excellent skills in communicating both through presentations and training, and in producing high-quality briefings and reports to a variety of audiences.

LSE is a campus-based university and staff are expected to attend the London campus in fulfilling their role. Most staff balance working from the campus or remotely. For this particular role, the duties are such that we can offer flexible working patterns. We, therefore, encourage applications from applicants who can routinely travel to the London campus.
