Assistant Professor in Law (Environmental Law and/or Climate Change Law)

 

The salary scale starts at £58,519 per annum and the salary scale can be found on the LSE Website

 

To support our undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programmes and to strengthen further our research profile, we are seeking to appoint an Assistant Professor in Environmental Law and/or Climate Change Law.

 

The post holder will contribute to the intellectual life of the School through conducting and publishing outstanding quality research, engaging in high quality teaching as instructed by the Dean of the Law School, and participating in the School and wider Law School activities.

 

Candidates should have the ability, as evidenced by existing publications or potential to publish in top journals, and to establish an international reputation in Environmental Law and/or Climate Change Law. Candidates will have a clear, well developed and viable strategy for future outstanding research that has the potential to result in world-leading publications. Candidates should have a PhD in Law or its research equivalent (or be close to obtaining a PhD) by the post start date and be committed to high quality teaching and fostering a positive learning environment for students.

The appointment is expected to commence on 1 September 2023.
