Salary from £36,647 to £44,140 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £47,456 pa inclusive of London allowance
This is a fixed term appointment for 12 months
The Department of Health Policy is seeking to appoint an LSE Fellow who is able to contribute to the departmental teaching provision, mainly at postgraduate level, but also to the departmental offering of executive education; and research.
The post presents an excellent starting point for an academic to gain teaching experience while developing their research career. You will have completed, or be close to obtaining a PhD in health economics, health policy or health services research by the post start date. You must have relevant teaching experience in the areas of health economics, health policy or health services research as well as excellent communication and presentation skills. Teaching-related administrative experience and experience delivering presentations at meetings or conferences would be an advantage alongside your ability to work in close partnership with fellow teachers, including on a one-on-one basis and in small groups, and to provide effective support, as necessary. Ability to teach on the master’s level modules is essential, as well as research interests in health policy, health economics or global health.
