Teaching and Assessment Administrator

 

Salary from £31,960 to £36,705 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £39,432 pa inclusive of London allowance

 

This is a fixed term appointment for 2 years with potential to extend subject to funding 

 

The LSE Data Science Institute is seeking a highly committed and motivated administrator to ensure the smooth administration of its new undergraduate taught courses. The DSI has three DS-coded courses, but no undergraduate degree programmes of its own.  

 

The Institute is seeking a proactive and highly motivated administrator to join our dynamic and friendly professional services team. The successful candidate will take responsibility for key areas of the Institute’s provision, including:

 

·          Administering all aspects of the Institute’s teaching delivery from the course selection stage to assessment and results processing.

·          Being responsible for teaching and assessment administration, quality assurance and contributing to continuous improvement of the Institute’s processes and services.

·          Liaising with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to support teaching and assessment activities within the Institute.

·          Providing a supportive learning environment for LSE students taking DS courses.

 

The successful candidate will have a high degree of numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail, excellent communication, organisational and IT skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to deal with people at all levels. This post offers a varied and interesting workload with the post holder being able to develop and improve Institute services.
