Executive Assistant
Salary from £36,513 to £41,565 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £44,468 pa inclusive of London allowance
The Executive Office has an exciting new opportunity to work with our Senior Executive Assistant to the President and Vice Chancellor. This role offers the right person the opportunity to work closely within the Executive Office as part of a proactive and collegiate support team. Working collaboratively, you will deliver the highest standards of professional executive administrative support, managing all aspects of the President and Vice Chancellor’s remit along with supporting other Senior Executive Assistants on occasion, with the wider work of the Senior Management Team.
Candidates should have:
- Proven, significant experience as Secretary or Executive Assistant
- Experience of dealing with sensitive and confidential information
- Experience of providing complex support in a wider organisation
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Proven ability to exercise sound judgement and initiative in managing tasks independently, including handling highly confidential and sensitive information appropriately and resolving complex problems where immediate solutions are not evident.
- Experience of working with a range of people at all levels of seniority and demonstrable ability to manage sensitive relationships effectively.
- Highly organised with the ability to plan, prioritise, and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines, while maintaining a meticulous and detail-oriented approach
