Salary is no less than £87,919 per annum (pay award pending) and the salary scale can be found on the LSE website 

 

In addition this post will attract a significant market salary supplement which reflects current market conditions.

 

The Department of Accounting at LSE invites applications from outstanding candidates for the post of Professor in Accounting. The postholder will contribute to the intellectual life of the School through conducting and publishing outstanding quality research and engaging in high quality teaching as instructed by the Head of Department. Candidates should have expertise and research interests of a quantitative empirical nature preferably in the financial accounting capital markets subject area. Candidates should have a strong track record of teaching and citizenship, and an acknowledged global standing in their field with influential publications in leading international journals. The post holder will be expected to uphold the tradition of intellectual diversity in the department and provide research leadership to a variety of faculty and doctoral students as well as engage in teaching and other departmental administrative and leadership responsibilities, including the role of Head or Deputy Head of Department consistent with the department’s succession and leadership plans.
