Executive Programmes Officer
Salary from £36,513 to £41,565 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £44,468
pa inclusive of London allowance
This is a fixed-term appointment for 24 months.
The LSE Department of Health Policy aims to advance knowledge and understanding of health care systems through undertaking post-graduate and executive teaching, and through research and scholarship at the highest international quality standards to the benefit of the international and national health policy community.
The postholder will play a
central role in the successful delivery of the Executive MSc programmes within
the Department of Health Policy, supporting all aspects of programme
administration and operations. A key aspect of the role is coordinating the administration
of student recruitment, from responding to enquiries and supporting admissions
processes to delivering applicant communications and recruitment events. As the
first point of contact for students, academic staff and external partners, the
role requires the delivery of an exceptional customer experience and the
development of effective working relationships. Working collaboratively across
the Department, the postholder will contribute to programme planning and
marketing activities, organise key programme activities and events, support
assessment and examination processes, and maintain accurate student and
programme records. The role also has a strong focus on enhancing the student
journey, ensuring a high-quality experience from initial enquiry and application
through to graduation and alumni engagement.
Candidates should have:
- The ability to plan and organise academic, recruitment and social events
- Previous relevant administration experience within Higher Education.
- A proven ethos of striving for continuous improvement in student experience
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences
