The Lifelong Learning Division (LLD) is central to LSE's ambition to extend its academic mission beyond degree education, providing transformative learning experiences to professionals, organisations and lifelong learners worldwide.

The Division's portfolio spans four principal areas: Executive Education (open and custom), Online and Lifelong Learning, support to the LSE Executive Masters portfolio and stackable credentials, and the LSE Lifelong Learning Experiences. The Division is undergoing a major strategic transformation, with a target to grow revenues significantly by 2030, requiring expanded market reach, deeper corporate engagement and a step-change in the Division's marketing capability and brand presence.

The Bid Coordinator will play a key role in enabling the Lifelong Learning Division to secure new business by coordinating the development of high-quality, competitive proposals for executive education and professional development programmes. Working under the direction of the Client Director, Custom Programmes, the postholder will ensure proposals are delivered on time, reflect the School’s academic and commercial strengths, and meet client learning and development needs, contributing to the Division’s revenue growth and market competitiveness during a period of significant strategic expansion.

The Bid Coordinator works closely with faculty, Client Relations, Programme Design and Delivery, Finance, and the wider Lifelong Learning Division to produce high‑quality, commercially competitive proposals that meet client needs and support revenue growth. The role requires a working knowledge of executive education or professional learning markets, strong coordination skills, excellent written communication, attention to detail, and the ability to support bidding processes, coordinate projects, and manage multiple submission deadlines simultaneously.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience supporting bid coordination activities in a professional services, education or client‑facing environment.
  • Experience supporting bid, proposal or tender processes.
  • Ability to produce clear, well‑structured written content for client‑facing materials, including drafting sections of proposals and supporting documentation.
  • The ability to convey information accurately to a range of audiences, including faculty, professional services colleagues and client‑facing teams.

We offer an occupational pension scheme, generous annual leave, hybrid working, and a wide range of professional development opportunities within a world‑leading university.
