LSE Fellow in Human Geography

 

Salary from £36,647 to £44,140 per annum with the potential to progress to £47,456 per annum including London allowance

 

This is a full-time fixed term appointment for 12 months.  Consideration will be given to a job share arrangement of two individuals working at 0.5 FTE.

 

 

The Department of Geography and Environment is seeking an LSE Fellow in Human Geography.  The successful candidate will join one of the world’s leading geography and environment departments, which enjoys very strong international student demand across a wide range of graduate and undergraduate programmes.

 

The successful candidate will contribute to research and teaching in the Department at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as carrying out administrative duties.

 

The successful candidate will have a PhD in a relevant subject or be close to completing it. In addition, the successful candidate will have a relevant background and expertise in the field of human geography: in particular, gender and development, poverty and inequality, and urbanisation in the Global South. Some relevant teaching and assessment experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels is essential.
