Marketing Officer (Summer School)
Salary from £36,513 to £42,693 with potential to progress to £44,468 pa inclusive of London allowance.
We’re seeking an ambitious, commercially driven Marketing Officer to execute innovative and effective marketing campaigns aimed at driving student enrolment for the LSE’s world-renowned Summer School – the largest international programme of its kind. If you are a proactive marketing professional with experience working on campaigns using the full marketing mix, this is the role for you.
This exciting role will form part of our small but dynamic Summer School marketing team. In particular, the post holder will focus on:
• Content creation, with a focus on producing high quality copy
• Roll-out of media plans, including managing the creation of assets
• Implementation of our social media, web and email strategies, overseen by the Marketing Managers
• Liaising with a range of stakeholders including LSE academics, professional staff from around the School and external agencies and freelancers.
The successful candidate will have:
• The ability to write engaging and creative content for print publications, the web and social media channels
• Proven ability to plan, create and edit short form video content for social media, to resonate with target audiences
• Demonstrable experience of interpreting complex material, simplifying and rewriting for various audiences
