GSoS is seeking a reliable, organised and adaptable Digital Communications Officer to play a key role in maintaining and optimising the GSoS website, alongside newsletters and additional projects, developing content in line with best practice including SEO, accessibility and UX. Through effective collaboration, technical knowledge and communications best practice, the Digital Communications Officer will deliver engaging and joined-up content and campaigns around news stories and announcements, articles, blog posts, newsletters and research publications. The role will provide flexible support across the team and associated research centres and departments and will proactively contribute to the development of procedures, templates and ways of working within the role and as part of the wider GSoS team, while also playing a key role in the facilitation of the GSoS sustainability network across LSE.

The ideal candidate will have experience of using a content management system to manage a multi-page microsite as part of a larger, complex website, an understanding of SEO, GEO, information architecture, UX and accessibility best practices as well as experience of producing content that aligns with brand guidelines and house style.
