Help shape the world’s future and achieve LSE’s ambition of being the leading social science institution with the greatest global impact.

PAGE serves and works in partnership with alumni, staff, students, volunteers, donors, global academic institutions, businesses, organisations and the wider community to further the strategic aims of the School. These reciprocal relationships increase engagement with LSE across the world and increase philanthropic income and strategic partnerships for agreed School priorities.

PAGE has over 90 members across the 4 pillars: Philanthropy, Global Academic Engagement (GAE), Corporate Engagement, and Alumni, Supporter Engagement & Operations. It is a great time to be at PAGE, as we further our partnerships and global impact through the Campaign – Shaping the World.

GAE's mission is to support students and academics with their international engagement with university partners, alliances, and networks across the world. Those priorities are built around two core pillars - 1) global mobility for our students, and 2) research collaboration in the social sciences and beyond.

As LSE enters an exciting period in our 130-year history, our ambition is to be the leading social science university with the greatest global impact.

About the Role

The Global Academic Engagement Coordinator for CIVICA will coordinate and manage day-to-day affairs around LSE’s membership of CIVICA (the European University of Social Sciences) and ensure that its activities are fully embedded across LSE.

Candidates should have experience of developing and coordinating a range of university-level student or staff mobility projects including exchanges, collaborative degrees, research, events, or other outreach activities.

We are looking for an individual passionate about working in a role that has a huge impact within the School and across society; who is collaborative in style, a team player but also good at taking the initiative; a self-starter, open-minded and creative, with experience in project management; someone who spots opportunities, can build effective networks and has the tenacity and resilience to persevere with projects, using well-honed decision-making skills.

We are a supportive, fun, and driven team, in a dynamic, forward thinking, and ambitious organisation. We also offer an occupational pension scheme, generous annual leave and excellent training and development opportunities.

If you are looking for a role that directly contributes to the betterment of society and are excited to work alongside globally respected experts in diverse subjects such as climate change, AI, sociology, marketing, economics, or politics, this opportunity is for you.
