The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is one of the foremost social sciences universities in the world specialising in social sciences. The HR Division provides advice and support to the School and its diverse customer base of circa 3,400 employees.
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join the Reward Team within the Human Resources Division. The team provides a high-quality, customer-focused service to academic departments, research centres, institutes and professional services divisions across the School. We are responsible for delivering reward processes and applying reward policies consistently, operating within the School’s governance and committee framework.
The HR Reward Adviser/Analyst role will appeal to you if you enjoy combining high-quality committee support with data analysis and reporting. You will provide analytical support to the Head of Reward, including pay equity and gender pay gap analysis, benchmarking, and management information to support decision-making, compliance and internal reporting.
For this role you will need strong attention to detail, excellent IT skills (including advanced spreadsheet capability) and confident written and verbal communication. You will build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders across the School, including senior academic leaders and professional services colleagues, providing clear guidance, timely advice and a consistently high standard of service. You will be comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment, handling sensitive remuneration information with discretion and in line with governance, confidentiality and data protection requirements.
The HR Division is continuing to improve processes and systems to optimise the customer journey. This role offers the opportunity to be creative and forward-thinking by contributing to process improvements within the Reward team, including strengthening guidance and controls, improving data quality, reporting in HR systems, and identifying opportunities to streamline or automate workflows.
It is an exciting time to join the HR Division and we welcome your application.
All shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a work based test followed by a competency-based interview.
