Assistant Professor in Health Policy

 

Salary is no less than £64,552 per annum and the salary scale can be found on the LSE website .

 

 

The LSE Department of Health Policy aims to advance knowledge and understanding of health care systems through undertaking post-graduate and executive teaching, and through research and scholarship at the highest international quality standards to the benefit of the international and national health policy community.

 

The post holder will contribute to the scholarship and intellectual life of the Department and LSE by conducting teaching and research which will enhance the School’s reputation as a research-led teaching institution. They will contribute to teaching on all programmes in the Department Health Policy.

 

You will have (or will have submitted) a PhD in a relevant social science discipline by the post start date, as well as a track record or trajectory of internationally excellent, relevant publications. You will also demonstrate the ability to teach on a range of courses relevant to health policy (e.g. health care management) currently on offer within the full-time MSc and Executive MSc programmes offered by the Department. Excellent written and oral communication skills, including an ability to place one's specialist work within a broader social science context is also essential.
