LSE Fellow in European and International Politics and Policy


Salary is competitive and not less than £36,647 pa (pro rata)

 

This is a fixed term appointment until at least 15 September 2022 (extension subject to funding)

 

The European Institute is dedicated to the interdisciplinary study of processes of integration and fragmentation within Europe. Our disciplinary range is unrivalled, with staff and researchers drawn from the fields of politics, economics, geography, history, anthropology, political economy, philosophy, sociology and international relations. Our research has been ranked first in the UK in last two national research exercises.

The successful candidate will contribute to teaching on the MSc in European and International Public Policy programme, as well as our student engagement activities and professional skills course. You will act as Academic Mentor to students, undertake assessment marking, and perform administrative duties as required by the Head of Department, Programme Director, or Department Manager.

You will have an emerging and promising record of research and teaching in a disciplinary field related to European and International Public Policy, and you will have a completed or nearly completed PhD in a relevant subject by 30 June 2020.

You will possess excellent written and oral communication skills and offer a commitment to high quality teaching and fostering a positive learning environment for students.
