Compliance and Assurance Officer
Salary from £39,313 to £47,148 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £50,614 pa inclusive of London allowance
The Compliance and Assurance Officer is a new role within the School’s Governance Services Team and is also based within the wider Secretary’s Division, which has oversight of statutory, regulatory, compliance, corporate governance and legal functions. The role holder will be responsible for developing, maintaining and delivering compliance and assurance activities/projects on behalf of the School. In doing so they will work closely with the Head of Governance Services and Governance Manager to support the broader strategic development and delivery of high-quality governance and ethical arrangements at the School.
The role holder should be proactive and willing to take significant ownership and responsibility for their working agenda and shaping their role. The position offers an excellent career development opportunity for the role holder.
Candidates should have relevant experience with strong organisational skills, attention to detail and be able to demonstrate methodical approaches. They should have experience of establishing and maintaining effective compliance/assurance and records management systems, excellent written and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with a wide range of individuals and to enable change, together with a user focus and an overall objective to ensure high quality delivery.
