LSE Fellow (International Political Economy) x 2 posts
Salary from £40,229 to £48,456 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £52,095 pa inclusive of London allowance
These are fixed term appointments for 2 years
Applications are invited for LSE Fellowships based in the Department of International Relations to commence 2 September 2024. These Fellowships are fixed-term appointments for two years.
The post holder will contribute to the scholarship and intellectual life of the Department and LSE by conducting teaching and research which will enhance the School’s reputation as a research-led teaching institution. With appropriate mentoring from the Department, the post holder will help improve our students’ educational experience whilst gaining excellent teaching experience and developing their own research career.
Candidates should have:
· successfully completed, or be close to completing, a PhD in International Relations, Political Science, or related discipline, by the post start date;
· very good knowledge of International Political Economy, business and politics, and / or the political economy of China, and a developing research record in the area;
· relevant teaching and a promising research profile;
· excellent communication and presentation skills;
· the ability to work in close partnership with fellow teachers and to foster an engaging and supportive learning environment;
· a commitment to equality and diversity.
Relevant teaching experience, experience of managing and contributing to course virtual learning environments, and experience in carrying out course administration are desirable.
