LSE IDEAS is the foreign policy think tank based at The London School of Economics and Political Science.  LSE IDEAS provides a forum that informs policy debate and connects academic research with the practice of diplomacy and strategy.  The Communications Officer will play an integral role in LSE IDEAS, leading on the day-to-day delivery of communications at the think tank, reporting to the Centre Manager. The role includes providing tailored communications support to colleagues, working closely with our research projects to maximise the dissemination and impact of their work, managing LSE IDEAS’ online presence via the website and social media, and establishing a clear and coherent communications style for the think tank.

Candidates should have previous communications experience (especially websites and social media), the ability to convey complex information in a concise, accessible manner, and an ability to work independently and manage their own workload. Knowledge of, or interest in, international relations and foreign policy would be an advantage.
