Salary from £42,429 to £50,656 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £54,295 pa inclusive of London allowance

 

The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is one of the foremost social science universities in the world, with a global reach and an international student intake. Student Services plays a central role in LSE’s central administration and our Student Service Centre (SSC), where the post is based, offers mission critical functions that are fundamental to the student experience and educational journey.

 

This challenging but rewarding post is an excellent opportunity to further develop your career in Higher Education administration and management.  You and your team will be committed to providing an outstanding level of student focused service in the delivery of wide ranging central student advice and engagement processes, including oversight of key processes such as repeat teaching, UKVI compliance, and logistics for front facing student services including the Student Services Counter.

 

You will have strong organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.  You will excel in a fast-paced student focused administrative environment and be able to effectively manage both your own varied workload, as well as that of the team, using your initiative and problem-solving skills to resolve issues daily. You will assist the Head of Student Advice and Engagement Management in applying our ethos of continuous improvement and ensure that we continue to provide an excellent service across all relevant areas.   

 

Previous experience within Higher Education administration working in a student facing role is essential, alongside specialist knowledge of UKVI Student visa regulations and policies.
