Legal and Regulatory Assurance Officer
Salary from £43,277 to £51,714 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £55,497 pa inclusive of London allowance

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with experience and qualification as a lawyer to work as a valuable member of the Legal Team as a Regulatory and Assurance Officer.
The successful appointee will specifically support the School in continuing to develop its legal and regulatory assurance procedures to ensure strict regulatory compliance and that appropriate oversight and reporting is provided under Governance procedures.
Candidates should have: Bachelors Degree or equivalent level of qualification, at least 2 years PQE as a qualified lawyer, knowledge and understanding of governance and regulatory issues relevant to a highly regulated sector, strong organisation, planning, drafting and communication skills and the ability to think strategically and creatively, see legal and regulatory issues in their wider context and provide pragmatic programme or project management for implementation strategies.
The successful appointee will need to demonstrate approachability and a strong ability to build good working relationships and liaise effectively with a range of colleagues, stakeholders, and external personnel.
