These posts include free central London single accommodation and an honorarium payment of £1,897 per annum, pro rota

Move into accommodation 7-8 September 2024 and compulsory training takes place between 9-20 September 2024. Role is for a maximum of 3 years (subject to review).

Residential and Catering Services house around 4,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students across nine halls. LSE residences are located across the central London area, largely in zone 1.

Together with the Warden, Subwardens play a front-line and crucial role in the provision of support for LSE students in their accommodation. Their presence enhances the wellbeing of residents, builds communities and ensures everyone can enjoy studying and socialising by maintaining an acceptable standard of conduct from all residents.

The hall has an experienced reception team who work with the Warden, Subwardens and student Hall Committee to ensure that good behaviour is maintained, and a positive community atmosphere is developed. 

This position requires the postholder to live and work in a designated LSE hall of residence.

The successful applicants will be subject to the return of a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check before the commencement of the role.
