Centre Manager
Salary from £53,949 to £62,160 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £69,073 pa inclusive of London allowance
This is an appointment for two years, with possibility for extension depending on future funding.
The newly established Centre for Economic Transition Expertise (CETEx) under the Global School of Sustainability (GSoS) is focused on leveraging, strengthening and amplifying research, and developing well targeted policy analysis and other outputs, by convening policymakers, and by providing technical support, assistance and capacity-building. This new centre will support the reforms necessary to deliver sustainable, inclusive and resilient economies and financial systems around the world.
The Centre Manager role will be pivotal in establishing core processes, ways of working, and building operational capacity of the new centre. The post holder will be a key member of CETEx’s senior management team, working closely with the Executive Director to shape the centre’s development and strategic direction. They will be responsible for the operational and financial management of the centre, ensuring the effective administration of resources and enabling the delivery of research and policy engagement.
Applicants must have:
- Experience of working at a relevant level in an administrative/business management capacity, ideally in a university environment.
- Experience of financial management and planning, including creating and administering multiple budgets
- Experience of line management.
- Experience of financial management and planning, including creating and administering multiple budgets.
- The ability to manage and oversee resources allocated to the Centres, including human, physical and financial.
