Strategy and Communications Officer

 

 

Salary is competitive and not less than £36,647 pa inclusive of London allowance (pro rata)

 

This is a full time, fixed term appointment for 6 months. Candidates who are interested in undertaking the role on a part time basis (17.5 hours per week) over 12 months will also be considered.

 

 

LSE100: The LSE Course is LSE’s flagship interdisciplinary course that is taken by all students in the Lent Term of their first year and Michaelmas Term of their second year. The aims of the course are twofold: to enhance students’ understanding of the methodologies of the social sciences, focusing on the core concepts of evidence, explanation and theory, and to strengthen their critical thinking, research and communication skills.

 

The post holder will provide outstanding administrative support to the Director, LSE100 and the Course Manager, LSE100, in particular, supporting significant strategic developments on the Course and coordinating communication and engagement activities.

 

Candidates should have a high degree of confidence in working with senior stakeholders in particular senior academic staff across the School; excellent organisational, time-management and project management skills, with a proven ability to work effectively on numerous projects simultaneously and to adapt to rapidly changing circumstances; and the ability to convey complex information in a clear and accurate manner (oral and written) to a range of stakeholders.
